Time Flies Like an Arrow, Fruit Flies Like a Banana

Thinking more about this, do I really have a memory of an
illustrative slide used by Tony Oettinger around 1956 to 1958 with a
drawing of a winged banana?  Perhaps it merely comes from the
Scientific American article.
