"bad to the bone"

In 1981 (that's a quarter century ago, folks) George Thorogood and the Destroyers released their blues-rock classic, "Bad to the Bone."

The phrase is used earlier in Hitchcock's 1947 film, "The Paradine Case" :

"Let me tell you about Mrs Paradine. She's bad, bad to the bone !"

OED has ADJ + "to the bone" from 1858, but "bad" isn't one of the adjs. in evidence.
