theological capitalization

The closed captioning on "Studio 60 from the Sunset Strip" makes an unusual theological point.  Pronouns referring to Jesus are capitalized.  Pronouns referring to the Deity (for you Christians, that would be the Father) are in lower case.

Probably the result of somebody who was either careless or didn't read the stylebook, but considering the amount of discussion about religions on "Studio 60", it makes you wonder.

OT: The Gideons - I am not making this up - are now giving out miniature New Testaments with orange covers.  Why?  For giving out as Halloween presents.
