Dialect Society. Your submissions are invited. The deadline is Sept.
29. Welcome material includes but is not limited to:

--conference announcements
--calls for papers
--calls for participation
--announcements of new projects, programs, or initiatives
--announcements of contests, competitions, scholarships or their awards
--new-book notices

If in doubt whether it qualifies, send your submission onward and
we'll take a look at it.
