OED seems not to notice this common ex. of hyperbole:

  1913 Charles Van Loan  _The Lucky Seventh_ (Boston: Small, Maynard & Co.) 5: Now, this Mexican gag  [i.e., trick] is a thousand per cent stronger.

  I don't see "(give) one hundred and ten percent" in OED either.
