"experiential" query

Since, for the past fifty years or so, one would hardly be considered a
fully-credentialed adult who could not find occasions for tossing
"existential" into the conversation  now & then,  I'm surprised that
"experiential" would even raise an eyebrow.  I've heard it in all sorts of
contexts  for many years, though I suppose it probably does get more of a
workout in education circles than elsewhere.
Can't say I use it myself, but then I rarely use "existential" either!
