pollution for pollination

 Morning Edition (NPR) this morning (Apr 1), correcting an error in an
earlier story on brought to their attention by a letter writer, to wit, the
assertion that the dearth of honeybees afflicting the US meant interference
in the* blooming*  of flowering plants, wzs corrected by saying that it
wasn't the blooming but the "pollution" that was affected.
(I suppose this could have been an Apr fool gag, but it didn't sound like one.)
