well, so _you_ say. Having had numerous occasions to observe
dogs displaying and performing in assorted ways in public
(including one as recently as yesterday who sniffed at a human
lady's crotch, and it's easy to imagine what inspired _that_
activity), I cannot recall a single dog indicating in any way
that it considered an activity of its own choosing to be
'inappropriate'.
;)
One does wonder, though, what the ultimate aim is (pun intended)
in the repetitive leaving of p-mail by a creature that is presumed
to have little sense of 'self'. This 'Kilroy Was Here' syndrome
seems to suggest the dog is quite aware, at some level, of a need
to advise others that s/he has been at a particular place.
