MERV GRIFFIN "OOOH!"--Merv Griffin (talk show host and creator of Jeopardy!
and Wheel of Fortune) has died. I remember the Merv Griffin "Oooh!" back in
the  1970s. There's been no linguistic comment on that "Oooh!" in his
obituaries.  Rick Moranis parodied that "Oooh!" for SCTV, and you knew it was  (gay)
Merv. "Oooh!" is classic 1940s film speech for female characters;  Merv did it a
little deeper and longer. Any "Oooh!"  thoughts?
