OED 1964. Google Books:

1952 Jeanne E. Wylie Face to Face (N.Y.: Wiliam Morrow) 17:
The good-natured insults, the snafu and raunch and buddy-buddy and "Screw 'em
all, the long and the short and the tall," and "Gee, Mom, I wanna go home."
It was suddenly this afternoon no longer seemly.

Should be checked, is but entirely consistent with WWII existence of "raunchy" in the general sense of "sloppy; grubby; slipshod; dirty."
