"Does it trick?"

I queried five children and nieces about this incident.  A daughter replied
"other than the traditional usages, the only other time I hear 'trick' is
'turning tricks'" (Just what a father wants to hear.)

A niece replied:  "The only other usage I know of is the phrase 'tricked
out' which, when referring to a car or cell phone, means it has a lot of
added features or technology. When referring to a person, I think it means
to 'freak out'. So maybe she was hoping the customer wouldn't freak out?"
