Of course, the anagrammatical connection between "Santa" and "Satan" has been prominent in the discourse of the sanctified for some years.

As long as we are waxing onomastical: My wife insists that a nun who taught her during her formative years of Catholic schooling proclaimed that "Luther" is a variant pronunciation of "Lucifer."
