Hmmm...I take it that's the prefix of "hom(o)eopathic" and
"homeostasis"?  Besides yielding an admirable opacity, that would
have the nice effect of yielding "homophone" and "homeophone" as a
lovely pair of homeo- (but of course not homo-) phones (as well as
homeonyms and homeographs).
