So: Once again the French are ripping the very fabric of our nation!
It's curious: Names of lakes so often to follow the pattern "Lake X," whereas rivers (creeks, brooks, runs, and rills) usually follow the pattern "X River"--except for "literary" rivers like Styx and Jordan.
