An interesting question came up recently in conversation.  Is there a
linguistic classification for things like the following?

1. AEIO and sometimes Y = "missing you"

2. A picture of a cassette tape and an ear of corn = "tapir"

These seem like two examples of the same thing - an implication leading to a
pun.
