Winter Texans (1975)

In Georgia we have the "halfbacks" (a term almost never used in connection with football anymore, with the ubiquity of the I, the Shotgun, and the "empty backfield" formations; perhaps the phrase was left looking for a referent). HALFBACKS are Yankees (often retirees) who descended to live in Florida, didn't like it there (who WOULD?!), so moved "half(-way)back" northward to the hill country of Georgia. There, they regularly vote against public school financing; hey, they don't have kids in school!
