E. J. Berneche, proprietor of the German Bakery, has obtained the right to
manufacture and sell the new "Parisian ice cream cones" in the counties of
Thurston, Chehalis, Lewis, Pacific and Mason. The new confection was very
popular at the St. Louis exposition last summer.

A down-town favorite in summer is the "Bronx" cocktail, which is precisely  si
milar to the Sergeant Brue, minus the absinthe and benedictine. The fad is to
