Once upon a time, back in the '40's, I was under the impression that
the Swiftian noun was pronounced "YAH hoo." Then, many years later,
but still many years in the past, I heard someone with a modicum of
knowlwdge equal to, or greater than, my own, pronounce the Swiftian
noun as "YAY hoo," prompting me to accept that as the canonical
Swiftian pronunciation. But, beyond this, I got nothiing.

All say, "How hard it is that we have to die"---a strange complaint to
come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
