[I'm not sure what the problem is, but this is the 3rd time I've tried to send this message].----- For those with a Ph.D. in French or who know someone who qualifies, my department is seeking to fill a tenure-track position in French;  details appear below.

[Here's the official statement from my department]:
The University of Missouri-Rolla, Department of Arts, Languages & Philosophy, seeks to fill a tenure track Assistant Professor of French position beginning Fall 2007. Minimum requirements are a Ph.D. in French; native or near native command of French and English and an excellent teaching record at all levels of language and literature to native speakers of English in a U.S. university setting.  A proven record of scholarship and research, evidenced by publications and presentations, is desirable. Demonstrated interest in multimedia approaches in teaching and computer assisted language learning are highly desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to coordinate the French program on campus and a strong interest in developing and promoting outreach programs to popularize French Studies at UMR.  Duties will be to teach undergraduate French courses at all levels, to advise students pursuing a French minor and to serve as faculty advisor for the French Clu!
 b.  The salary is competitive, based on qualifications and experience. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled; review of applications will begin on April 15, 2007.
