"American Taco"?

     My wife just shared with me the term "American Taco", as used to describe
     a hot dog on a bun.  Anyone else seen or heard this?

     I googled ("American Taco" "Hot Dog") and the only non-standard taco entry
     mentioned a hot dog in a taco shell with lettuce and tomato from a menu in
     Japan:  http://www.largeprimenumbers.com/news.php?nid=120

     Anyone else seen or heard of "American Taco" = "Hot Dog on a Bun"?
