Can sound be put in these messages?

Whether opened or not, the message would still contain the file
and would still consume the bandwidth to send it out, and the
disk space to store it at the destination -- times however
many people are subscribed.

It also adds a layer of complexity to the task of managing the
list. Corrupted files. Encoding issues. File types. Compression

Anyhow, the Listmaster has already made it clear that attachments
aren't allowed on the ADS-L list which is a good thing imho.
