D'oh! Yes, it could be that. In that case, it's mainly of interest
for the way the sentence is structured so that that's not instantly
clear. Which is to say, not quite as interesting to me...
And, of course, for the hyphen in the verb+preposition, which,
however, is very common -- although usage manuals don't typically
endorse it in verb use (but do in noun use).
