Probably already on file: "gambit" for gamut.
On our local public radio news program, someone being interviewed
concerning the upcoming trail maintenance day in the Adirondacks, said,
when asked about the number of different kinds of jobs involved, said,
"Oh, they'll probably run the whole gambit."
