Ranch Dressing (in M-W but not OED?)

I just did a post on "ranch dressing," something that is in
Merriam-Webster but not OED. OED has Xerox and Band-Aid--will it get
on the ranch?
...
"Ranch dressing" possesses these two problems in culinary linguistics:
1. There were products named "ranch dressing" before Hidden Valley
Ranch trademarked its "ranch" product.
2. There were "buttermilk dressing" recipes that were essentially
"ranch dressing" before that name was trademarked for the product.
...
Also of interest is the "ranch burger," inspired nowadays by the
"ranch" name. "Ranch dressing" is the country's most popular dressing.
It's served on everything from steakfingers or chicken wings to french
fries to "pizza bones" (HDAS?) to even salad. Ranch dressing is called
"sorority sauce" in north Texas, "Oklahoma ketchup" over the state
line.
...
What's it gonna be, OED?
