This word was discussed some months back as a variant of "slumgullion." Not in OED.

  1940 William Gould Vinal Nature Recreation (N.Y.: McGraw-Hill) 209: Slum Gully. More expensive than goulash. 2 cans tuna fish...2 cans peas, 1 pt. cream sauce seasoned, 1 can pimento, 4 hard-boiled eggs.
