Double eggcorn? Raptious

Heard a friend use the term "raptious predator" for a quotation that I know
as "rapacious creditor."  Found about 276 Google hits for "raptious" but the
first dozen or so seem to call for "rapturous", although it is sort of being
used also where "boisterous" would fit.  Not in the ECDB.
