my mailbox is filling up with eggcorns and other word-reshapings,
none of which are on the ecdb site (even in the comments).  four in
the last few days: three on ADS-L (this one, with "jar-dropping"),
earlier ones with "factional" for "factual" and "preannual") and one
("poultry sum") from a Language Log reader.

is it something in the air?
