"feint" for "faint" is in Brians. and was mentioned by mark liberman
on Language Log:

"feignt" seems to put the verb "feign" in the picture.
when i did a google search on "feignt of heart", i was asked if i
meant "feint of heart". searching on "feint of heart" gets no query.
