That's already happened, I believe -- in the time when England's
governmental language was French.
That aside -- _which_ English should the phonetic spelling be based on?
Will I be forced to spell "egg" and "leg" as if they rhymed with
"beg?" Will Australians be forced to spell "far" as if it contained an
r-sound?
