1982! Fun Judas Priest fact: they started the whole leather-and-studs
look for heavy metal music, and for them it was started by one of
their members, who latched onto it because of another social scene he
was part of... turns out it's not a coincidence that metalheads and
leather queens dress so similarly, although the connection is surely
not intentional for many or most metalheads.)
