"Question Authority"

I've always associated the phrase "Question authority" with Timothy
Leary, who said, sometime back in Consciousness 3, "Think for yourself
and question authority." I don't have an attestation at the moment but
will hunt for one. The late 1970s incarnation of the phrase was
associated with the early Libertarian Party, with which Leary had some
dealings.
