Poker Antedatings

Very nice antedatings of "draw poker" and "jack pot," Bill!  Someone else I know has antedated the term "poker" itself, but that willl be appearing in a forthcoming book and I think he would not want it posted at this time.

"I have seen various accounts in your interesting paper, of a game that
is "extensively" played in these diggins, called by the euphonious name
of "Poker," but have seen no mention made of a game that has almost
superseded the old one, which is known by the name of "Draw Poker." "
