Correct: acceptable to certain people

May refer to people or things (such as ecologically correct campground
restrooms)

Probably others. Not exactly sure of the definition of correct. It's
more than publicly acceptable as I can imagine people publicly
proclaiming that they don't if they're EC or not. There's a diatribe

"Environmentally correct" essentially refers to something that
environmentally-minded people don't get upset at and
PC refers to something that politicians don't get upset at.
