Basically OT correction for discographers

Some time ago, I made the erroneous claim that the song, Time Is On My
Side, was originally recorded not by The Rolling Stones, but by the
black singer, Irma Thomas. Though Thomas's version is older than that
of The Stones, both versions are _covers_. (I had to get that in to
keep this from being totally OT).
The original version is by the Danish(!) jazz trombonist, Kai Winding,
with the nonce black singing group, The Chanters (not to be confused
with several other groups of the same name), providing the singing. It
was released on October 23, 1963, on Verve VK 10307. All other
versions were released subsequent to that date.

All say, "How hard it is that we have to die"---a strange complaint to
come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
