Could one stick to the topic?
Mr. Harbeck's response may be true enough, but linguistically irrelevant
(unless perhaps you count Jack Chambers' interesting article on the use of
historical linguistic analysis in defending Canadian Indian treaty rights). And only
tangentially, at best, relevant to the depiction of the Lone Ranger's putative
killing of Indians (and warm friendship, 20th century style, with Tonto).
