While this one probably doesn't make the grade for THE woty, there are
various subcategories. It is clever.

Besides, I don't think it's a good practice to immediately reject
suggestions; it discourages people from making them. There will be time for
paring down the list of nominees come December.

Besides, it's important to hear and record suggestions from early in the
year so the nominees aren't skewed towards terms that are fresh in November
and December.
