Struck (adj)

I found this tidbit while looking for writers' strike news.

 *"If the Globes is telecast and it is produced by Dick Clark Prods., which
is a struck company, we will picket the show," guild strike coordinator Jeff
Hermanson said.*

 I've never before encountered *struck* as an adjective for being on strike.
Is this the future, the past, or just some fleeting aberration?
