Heard 3 times in the last 24 hours from 3 separate political commentators
on National Public Radio coverage of the Iowa caucuses: "pundents" for
standard "pundits".  Hmm.  Google reveals thousands of hits for the
spellings "pundents", "pundants" and "pundits".  A late professor of mine
would've loved these examples of US English nasal intrusion.
