Hear Edison speak at the edress belowl

http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/r?ammem/papr:@filreq(@field(NUMBER+@band(edrs+50509r))+ at field(COLLID+edison))

One notable pronunciation is of the word "Americans" which sounds like uh-MEDI-kinz. He often one-flaps the "r" to make it sound like a "d". Others on some edison cylinders did this as well. Funny to hear Edison say "EYE-talians."
