Heard on The Cartoon Network: a new(?) meaning of "standee"

Male character:

"My phobia is that I have a fear of Céline Dion standees in music stores."

Female character:

"Ooh! I *love* Céline Dion! Uh, what's a "standee"?

Male character:

"A life-sized, cardboard cut-out of someone, propped up from behind.'"


So, that's what those things are called! Or is it?
