 I have the same reports as Benjamin does on Doug's attempts, including
 Wilson's quote. Windows XP Pro, Firefox, UTF-8. Dan, "unicode-8" isn't
 the name of an encoding (http://www.unicode.org/glossary/#U); do you
 mean UTF-8, which is an encoding of Unicode?

 Doug's Chinese and Thai samples reached me garbled:
