Heard on The Judges: "play-touch"

Mid-twentyi-ish, white, female defendant:

"I didn't cheat on him, your honor. We [the other man and I] didn't
have sex, we didn't hug, we didn't kiss, we didn't do anything! We
just _play-touched_."

If "play-touch" means "fondle (each other)," as it appears to, it's
hard to imagine that there was no hugging and kissing involved. The
show's commentator was also struck by this locution, making a point of
quoting it.

All say, "How hard it is that we have to die"---a strange complaint to
come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
