Daniel Cassidy has died

Let me note for the record that Daniel Cassidy, a self-styled Irish
etymologist, has died from cancer. Daniel had a brief career positing
etymologies that could stand little scrutiny, but it was clear from
his antics and correspondence that riling the staid and stultified was
what he enjoyed the most.
