Antedating of pastrami[1914) and a new? Jewish newspaper database

OED has 1916.

I accidently found a new (to me) free online database this morning--The Pittsburgh Jewish Newspaper Project.
http://pjn.library.cmu.edu/ .  It is made up of _The Jewish Criterion_ , _The American Jewish Outlook_  and _The Jewish Chronicle_.

As an intersting aside, the same Deli advertised on 8 May 1914 but used the word "pastroma."  And, it was essentially the same ad with just a little different layout.  Curious.
