After dinner comes....fudges.
Fudges are distinctly a college product. Some one has described them as
"caramels spoiled in the making." They are made in a tin pan over a gas jet.
They contain milk, sugar and chocolate. They are good. The girls used to make
the confection at all hours, but, since the authorities have turned off
the gas
during daylight, they make it only after dark.
