Heard on The Judges: new-to-me trivial slang variant

26-year-old white male speaker:

"Don't associate with a woman when you know that she's crazy _from the
get-start_."

The fact of the matter was that he had screwed - no pun intended - an
older woman (34 y.o.) out of $17,000 and she was *crazy* to believe
the various lies that he told her to confidence her out of her money
while, during the course of the "relationship," he married, divorced,
and had children by two younger women and, unknown to her, of course,
was a registered sex offender, to boot. She was able to show that he
had kinda, sorta, maybe promised to pay her back. So, the woman
received a judgment of $1,000 from a sympathetic judge, which pissed
him off, leading to his insulting remark.

All say, "How hard it is that we have to die!"––a strange complaint to
come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
