Careless writing

I do think that the idea of carelessness has some merit with respect to
writing. For example, in the first sentence below the slovenly author failed to
proofread his message before hitting the SEND button, having written "no" instead
of "on." I can also imagine possibly using the term "careless" with respect
to content, as for example when someone unthinkingly" makes a gallows-humor
joke in the presence of the child of an executed criminal.
