microblogging and cloud computing

The latter has been in the press quite a bit, but, it seems, no one has
any idea what it really means. Just this week, it was announced that
Genentech decided to let Google run all its document services (i.e.,
mail, spreadsheet, etc.) as a "cloud computing" beta test.

Microblogging has been popular with some bloggers, especially as blog
aggregators have been disappearing over the past couple of years. But it
hasn't quite hit the mainstream yet.
