Kennedyesque "Camelot"

Jesse, does the OED have citations in its files for the Kennedyesque usage of the term "Camelot"?  Ralph Keyes, in his new book Retrotalk, refers to Theodore White as having originated this usage.  If anyone else has information, I would be very interested to hear it.
