Considering the trouble that I'm having understanding Jerry's comment,
perhaps my brain is shutting down, but I just don't see that this
discussion is going anywhere.
For example, don't we need to know what "sentient death in its most
tormented form" is and in what sense "Pompeii" is a -nym for it,
before there can be a decision made as to what kind of -nym is needed?
Or am I alone in not having sufficient background so as to be able to
understand WTF the point of the original quote is? Or should that be
... WTF is the point ...
